Stratford Shotokan offers fitness kickboxing classes for those individuals looking to lose weight, get in shape or simply maintain the shape they have currently. The Stratford Shotokan Kickboxing class is a high energy, realistic approach to fitness kickboxing through tried and applied combinations and drills. We focus on Strength and Conditioning in addition to weight loss/ body sculpting.

Kickboxing techniques require timing and help build your balance and coordination, as all four limbs are being used but developing an understanding of your body as your will be also utlizing knees and elbows to strike against pads and heavy bags. These moves develop a student’s ‘core’ conditioning and provide a real ‘full body’ workout. This style of training will bring your current level of fitness to an entirely new level. Kickboxers are amongst the most ‘shredded’ of all athletes and the techniques are effective for street-self-defense as well!

The class is instructed by 4x world champion and United States Martial Arts team member Samuel Diaz III.

"I would recommend this Dojo to anyone. I started there taking the kickboxing class 7 months ago just looking to get back into shape because I had let myself go. The first few classes were difficult because I had not worked out in a long time but I stuck with it regardless determined to drop some weight and get into shape. As of right now I have lost 32lbs and counting and couldn’t be happier with the results in such a short time. If you are looking to get in shape then come down, You will not be disappointed as long as you remember “ No Results for Just Showing Up” ! Come put in work with us and get the body you want and deserve. If you have children bring them as well they will love the Karate Classes as well."
